Registration for the Comprehensive Oral Examination before a Committee (Final Comprehensive Oral Examination): 

You may begin planning your final comprehensive oral examination after submitting your dissertation to the Examination Department.

You will find the registration form for the PhD final comprehensive oral examination here. 

Please fill out the registration form carefully since only fully completed forms can be accepted. 

An Examination Board consisting of three people must be formed to conduct the final comprehensive oral examination. One member shall act as Chairperson of the Examination Board.

Please note that in addition to the signature of the respective examiners, the stamp from the respective clinic or institute is also required.

The Chairperson is to sign the form once in their function as an examiner and once in their function as Chairperson. 

The original completed form is to be submitted to the Examination Department, Mozartgasse 12, 1st floor, Room No. 104. 

The Examination Department will obtain the approval from the Dean for Doctoral Studies for the requested Examination Board and the approval of the Studies Rector. 

Please note that it is only possible to take the final comprehensive oral examination after the positive assessment of all course examinations as well as the dissertation have been submitted in MEDonline.

Please take this into account when planning the date of your final examination.
