Florian B Pokorny


Florian Pokorny graduated from the Graz University of Technology in Electrical Engineering and Audio Engineering in 2013 and received his doctoral degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Munich in 2019. Since 2014, he is member of the Research Unit iDN – interdisciplinary Developmental Neuroscience at the Medical University of Graz. His research interests comprise the fields of (voice) acoustics, (speech) signal processing, and machine learning. Currently, he is investigating early vocalisation atypicalities in individuals with 'late detected' developmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder, Rett syndrome, and fragile X syndrome.
