Salaries at universities depend on several factors. In addition to recognition of prior experience and other parameters, remuneration is also determined according to inclusion in one of two groups of employees: "academic university staff" or "general university staff." Compensation of apprentices is also stipulated in the collective agreement.
The salary scheme of the collective agreement for academic university staff defines the different salary groups.
In the collective agreement, general university staff are classified into job groups I to V according to the classification criteria. These job groups consist of two qualification levels: the basic level and the regular level.
The monthly apprentice compensation for apprentices according to the Vocational Training Act is also stipulated in the collective agreement. The parameter for the amount of apprentice compensation due is the year as an apprentice that has been reached.
