First time Co-registration:

Students who have been admitted to a university program at a different university and who wish to take exams for the same program at the Medical University of Graz (e.g. elective courses) must additionally register with this university. 

A co-registration can be applied for in the general admission period or during the grace period that is applicable to the term in which the application takes place. 
A co-registration for summer term 2019 is possible from January, 8th, until April, 30th, 2019 (including grace period). 
Applications made outside of these dates will not be accepted! 

The following documents must be presented to the study management in person:

  • Student card
  • Current record of studies from your “original” university for the relevant term you want to co-register


If you are co-registering at Medical University of Graz for the first time, pre-registration in Medonline must be carried out beforehand.

Warning: Students who want to co-register do not have to upload any documents. Furthermore the uploading of a photo is not necessary as no student card is issued.


Re-registration is possible during the general admission period or grace period of the actual winter or summer term.
For summer term 2019 admission period (including grace period) is from January 8th until April 30th, 2019.

1) Re-Registration without a break in studies: Please send your current record of your studies for the relevant term via your student-email-account with information that you wish to be re-registered at the Medical University of Graz to the following address:

2) Re-Registration after a break in studies: In this particular case you must come to the study management in person. Please bring with you your current record of studies for the relevant term and an official identity card.
