This 8th Graz Symposium is organized by the SFB LIPID HYDROLYSIS, an excellence research network program supported by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), the City of Graz, and the Province of Styria.

Early registration: from February 4 until February 29; 2020 Registration fee: 100 €.
There is a reduced rate of € 50.-for students and postdocs of the SFB Lipid Hydrolysis as well as the students and PIs of the PhD programs DK-MCD, DK MOLIN, DPiDP, MOBILES, and MolMed.
Late registration: between March 1 and April 10, 2020; Registration fee: 300 €;

Abstract Submission

Young scientists will have the oppertunity to present a poster or be selected for a short talk. Posters and talks will be selected from all submitted abstracts by the scientific board. A maximum number ob 25 posters will be accepted. Abstracts must be in English. The abstract submission is open now until February 29, 2020. Please note that for organizational reasons no exceptions can be made concerning this deadline.

Social Program

We would like to cordially invite you to our social evening on Friday, April 17 starting at 6:30 p.m. The social evening will take place next to the Aula at the Medical University of Graz (Neue Stiftingtalstrasse 6, ground floor). We kindly ask you to let us know via the online registration form (see link above) if you are going to participate. If you have signed up but your are not able to participate, please let us know per email by April 3 at the latest. Cancellations after April 3 and staying away from the social evening have to be charged with 40 € per person.


Three Best Poster Awards and one Best Short Talk Award will be selected by the plenary speakers.
