Univ.-Prof. Mag.pharm. Dr.rer.nat. Wolfgang Graier

Wolfgang GRAIER investigates spatial Ca2+-signaling as well as Ca2+-triggered signal transduction and its implementation to the regulation of metabolism and cell function with specific focus on mitochondria. He has longstanding experience in the subcellular analyses of signaling pathways, protein-protein interactions, protein folding, reactive oxygen species production, organelle function and motility, and ion homeostasis. Wolfgang Graier is Chairman of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at the MUG.
