Dean for Doctoral Studies
The Office for Doctoral Studies is at the interface of all sectors involved in the doctoral studies at the Medical University of Graz. Our team provides information, advice and support to doctoral students, their supervisors and teaching staff around all matters that are related to doctoral education at the Medical University of Graz.

Functions:
- Provide individual doctoral study guidance
- Administer the educational program of the doctoral studies
- Organize transferable skills workshops, Summer Schools, Doctoral Day
- Organize and administer international calls for PhD applications
- Provide funds to support doctoral students in their research, conference and publication activities
- Explain career options and follow up students’ satisfaction
- Monitor evaluation and quality management of doctoral programs
- Monitor and implement national and international trends of doctoral studies
