For students who are currently enrolled at Med Uni Graz, the confirmation of study period (app “Studienbestätigungen”) and proof of academic achievement (app “Erfolgsnachweis / ToR”) are available for self-printing in MEDonline.
Individuals who have already completed or discontinued their studies at Med Uni Graz and therefore do not have access to MEDonline can request confirmation of study period or proof of academic achievement by sending an informal email to the Study Management organizational unit. The following information and documents are required for delivery by mail:
• Full name (in the event of a name change, corresponding proof, e.g., marriage certificate, must be enclosed)
• Date of birth
• Matriculation number (if still known)
• Current postal address
Withdrawal from a degree program terminates all rights and obligations associated with the withdrawn degree program at Med Uni Graz.
There are two ways to withdraw from a degree program:
1. Withdrawal at the Study Management Office
There is no deadline for withdrawal, which can be done in person at the Study Management Office through an appointment and with your MED UNI CARD. Alternatively, you can withdraw from your studies online by submitting a withdrawal application. A certificate of withdrawal can be issued upon request.
2. Automatic withdrawal from a degree program
If the tuition fee/ÖH fee (depending on the prescription) is not paid by the end of the deadline for registering to continue studies for the respective semester, the degree program(s) will be automatically withdrawn at the end of this deadline.
In this case, no further steps are required for withdrawal.
If degree documents or transcripts have been lost, it is possible to have second copies or duplicates issued.
• To request a duplicate, please send an email to abschluss(at)medunigraz.at, specifying the documents you require and attaching a scan of an officially valid photo ID as proof of identity.
The duplicate will then be sent to you by email.
