Many scientific disciplines are in the depth of a replication crisis: previous study findings often do not replicate when these studies are conducted again by other research teams. Open Science practices - such as data sharing and study preregistration - hold the promise to make research more replicable and ultimately more credible. Here Gabriele Hofer and Hilmar Brohmer show on the example of psychological research that this promise is indeed met and they provide suggestions how researcher can start implementing Open Science practices in their workflow.
