OMERO is a leading open-source platform for managing, visualizing, and sharing microscopy and scientific image data. It provides a central, collaborative infrastructure that allows researchers to securely store their images together with metadata, ensuring long-term accessibility, reproducibility, and compliance with FAIR principles. Widely used across universities and research institutions, OMERO facilitates efficient collaboration by enabling secure data sharing within and between projects and groups. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to core concepts and practical strategies for working with OMERO, laying the foundation for structured image data management, collaborative research, and integration with other tools and automated workflows.
