Biobanks play a key role in finding biomarkers that help to improve healthcare by adopting personalized medicine. However, for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are developing new biomarkers, it is quite a challenge to obtain high-quality patient samples because of different hurdles. To overcome these hurdles, the Interreg NWE Codex4SMEs project will provide SMEs with free access to samples.
