Digital medicine is an interdisciplinary field that uses advanced digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), big data analytics, and mobile health platforms to improve patient care. These digital technologies hold high promise to revolutionize medicine by making medical treatments more precise, efficient personalized and accessible, but they also pose various risks such as privacy concerns, diagnostic and therapeutic malpractice and related liability issues. This talk aims to provide a big picture view on these important trends, with a more detailed glimpse into the specific application of using “digital twins” of patients for stratification and therapy planning.
