The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is looking for a

Biomedizinische*r Analytiker*in (BMA)

Core duties and responsibilities:

Performing biomedical analytical investigations within the framework of scientific research projects
Sample processing (e.g., blood, tissue, cell cultures) as well as execution and documentation of laboratory analyses
Application and further development of cell biological, molecular biological, and immunological methods
Contributing to the establishment and optimization of laboratory processes and methodologies
Ensuring the smooth day-to-day laboratory operations as part of the BMA team
Supporting study procedures (e.g., sample logistics, data collection, coordination with clinical partners and research nurses)
Close collaboration with interdisciplinary project teams

Successful candidates must have the following qualifications:

Completed training as a Biomedical Analyst (BMA)
Enrollment in the Health Professions Registry
Solid knowledge in biomedical laboratory diagnostics and/or experimental research
Experience with common laboratory methods (e.g., PCR, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, cell culture)
Good proficiency in English, both written and spoken, German language skills desirable

Flexibility and willingness to contribute to the development of new workflows in a dynamic research environment
