Students admitted to a degree program at another Austrian university who attend individual courses at Med Uni Graz as part of this program and would like to take exams must register for concurrent enrollment.

Concurrent enrollment registration is only possible during the registration period for the respective semester. For winter semester 2022/23, this period is from 11 July to 31 October 2022. Registration is not possible outside this period.

The following documents must be presented in person for concurrent enrollment:

  • Student ID
  • COPY of a current student record sheet (for the semester for which you are registering)
  • Only required if you would like to be concurrently enrolled in a degree program also offered at Med Uni Graz: Confirmation from your "home university" that the courses/exams to be completed at Med Uni Graz are not offered by your university.

If you have never registered for a degree program/concurrent enrollment at Med Uni Graz, preregister in MEDonline and select a personal enrollment date.

Attention: For students staying at Med Uni Graz for a thesis, please contact the Welcome Center for the appropriate registration process. An additional concurrent enrollment is only applicable for students attending courses as well.

Preregistration

During preregistration for concurrent enrollment, you DO NOT need to upload any documents under the point "Admission requirements for diploma and bachelor degree programs." Since concurrently enrolled students do not receive a MED UNI CARD, it is not necessary to upload a photo.

Reregister

Your concurrent enrollment at Med Uni Graz is generally valid for one semester. If you need to be concurrently enrolled in additional semesters, you must actively reregister for each semester in which you would like to have this status.

Reregistration is only possible during the registration period for the respective semester. For winter semester 2022/23, this period is from 11 July to 31 October 2022. Reregistration is not possible outside this period.

  1. Reregistration without interruption    
    Please email the student record sheet from your university (for the semester for which you are reregistering) with a request for concurrent enrollment reregistration from your student email address to studium(at)medunigraz.at
  2. Reregistration with an interruption or a change of degree program     
    Reregistration is possible in person only. Bring the student record sheet from your university (for the semester for which you are reregistering) and student ID card or an official photo ID (driver's license, passport or identity card) to the Studies and Teaching Management organizational unit (Harrachgasse 21/2 8010 Graz)..

If the reregistration deadline is not met, concurrent enrollment expires automatically at the end of the extended registration period for the respective semester. When concurrent enrollment expires, so does the student's account at Med Uni Graz (MEDonline, webmail, etc.)!       

Note that the prerequisite for concurrent enrollment is valid admission to the respective degree program at your "home university." If your enrollment in the degree program at your "home university" expires (e.g., through completion of the degree program), your concurrent enrollment at Med Uni Graz also expires automatically.
