Official signature

Amtssignatur Med Uni Graz

The digital signature is already known from the area of e-government through the citizen card or cell phone signature and can be used here as a legally valid electronic, personal equivalent instead of a personal signature.

The digital official signature corresponds to this legally valid signature on notices and other documents on the part of a public authority. This makes it recognizable that it is an official document of the Medical University of Graz.

The official signature visually consists of the figurative mark (comparable to a “round stamp”) of the Medical University of Graz and the indication that the document has been officially signed. The Medical University of Graz also provides verification mechanisms for the electronic signature and a verification option for the printout.
