We are involved in and lead a broad spectrum of scientific, translational, and development projects, reflecting our strong expertise in NMR-based metabolomics, structural biology, drug discovery, pharmaceutical development/quality control and integrative metabolism research. Our activities span basic, preclinical, and clinical research, and are driven by our highly interdisciplinary team at the Medical University of Graz and our collaborators.
Our research portfolio covers key areas of modern biomedical research, including healthy ageing, microbiome research, metabolic diseases, cancer, cardiovascular and kidney diseases, psychiatric disorders, and drug discovery. In addition to academic projects, we maintain active collaborations with industry partners, startups, and biotech companies, contributing to innovation in diagnostics, therapeutics, and technology development.
