In four interdivisional subject areas, the researchers at our center work on scientific questions related to cellular metabolism, lipid metabolism, placental cell biology and aging processes in general. These four areas also encompass fields of research with a focus on patients such as the molecular mechanisms of cardiovascular disease and diseases of pregnancy.
