Precision medicine unites global efforts to combine diagnostics, therapy and disease prevention and takes into account genetic differences, environmental influences and individual habits. Precision medicine is concerned with genome and biomarker research as well as new approaches to therapy and diagnostics, employing methods from bioinformatics, computer modeling and machine learning. The focus of this research area is on computerized cardiology, nanomedicine and genetic epidemiology.
